Our Activities Include

• Plans trips to the NYC Metropolitan Museum of Art, Winterthur, and Brandywine Museums, Grounds for Sculpture, Philadelphia Craft show and Museum of Art special exhibits
• Conducts art classes in charcoal, acrylic, and water color for members
• Designs creative accessories for Porch Club’s award winning Philadelphia Horticultural Flower Show exhibits
• Conducts Cooking workshops: homemade tiramisu, manicotti, pumpkin bread to name a few
• Easter egg and fondant workshop
• Creates items to sell at club fundraisers ex. Decorated garden hats, fascinators, painted garden rocks
• Conducts Pumpkin painting and card stamping workshops
• Decorates the clubhouse for the Holidays
• Decorates Fairmont Park houses (Strawberry Mansion and Cedar Grove) for the Holidays
• Conducts VanGough acrylic workshop
• Collects personal care items for women in the military
• Creates cheerful and decorative handcrafted table decorations for local nursing homes
• Attended Monet Lecture at Haddon Fortnightly
• Contributed to Porch Club’s Chocolate Bake Off event
• Hosts “Soups On” a sampling of homemade soups
• Participates in NJSFWC Achievement Day contributing numerous award winning entries
