Outreach

Community Service is the cornerstone of The Porch Club’s philanthropic mission and one of the most rewarding aspects of members’ club experience. As members of The Porch Club, we are committed to contributing our time and energy to helping those in need and to enhancing the quality of life in our community by participating in service projects that support our mission to benefit local women, children and families.

The Porch Club members work in direct partnership with a multitude of local charities. Service projects vary each year based on the current needs of the community and number of volunteers involved in the club. Recent community service projects include: preparing and serving meals at Cathedral Kitchen, knitting hats for cancer patients at Virtua Samson Cancer Center, collecting newborn clothing for The Ronald McDonald House, decorating and singing seasonally to the residents at Riverview Estates, and so much more.
